In spring, you can ski on snow remaining at Tashiro Ski grounds until early May. From spring to summer, you can pick mountain vegetables and fish in the mountain stream at the nearby hills and fields. From summer to fall, you can go to Mt. Tairapyo (one of Japan's 100 Famous Flower Mountains) and Mt. Naeba.
