Asahi Shizenkan Snow Park
Asahi Shizenkan Snow Park is located at the foot of Mt. Asahi. It is a paradise of 100% natural, powder snow thanks to its abundant snowfall due to its location behind the Asahi mountain range. The outstanding scenery of silvery-white trees, the surrounding mountains, and even the Zao mountain range is unmissable. 5 slopes and four pair lifts are laid out so anyone, including first-timers, families, and advanced skiers can enjoy skiing. There is a wide variety of courses, such as a single smooth slope, a more bumpy course, a popular powder snow area, and a steep slope with a maximum incline of 34 degrees. The climate is relatively stable without strong winds and it feels warm during the day, making it a comfortable place for children and beginners alike.
