The long-established Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort celebrated its 75th anniversary last year. It is easily accessible—just 75 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen, followed by a 15-minute shuttle bus ride from the nearest station. Boasting one of the biggest ski areas in the Kanto region, you'll find natural snow, diverse terrains, a variety of slopes, and some of the best night skiing in Japan. This expansive ski resort offers a spectacular location unique to Ishiuchi Maruyama, with breathtaking views of the Minamiuonuma Plain and the Echigo Sanzan mountains.
