Aizu Kogen Nango Ski Area
Aizu Kogen Nango Ski Area features a 3-kilometer-long slope stretching from the base to the summit. Midway up the mountain, you'll find a 1-kilometer family slope—perfect for practice. Another 1-kilometer section is set apart as a free park area, with a halfpipe, kickers, rails, and boxes that you can easily access by lift—making it a favorite among snowboarders and freestyle skiers.
• With just one lift ride, you can access four powder snow trails and enjoy the natural terrain.
• The same lift also takes you to both the Main Pyonpyon Park and Sub Pyonpyon Park, where beginners and intermediates alike can have fun.
At Nango Ski Area, you can enjoy it all—powder snow, parks, and halfpipes—making it the perfect resort for both skiing and practicing tricks, and an unforgettable place to spend a day on the slopes!
After your runs, don't miss the local specialties at the slope-side restaurants. Try regional comfort foods made with fresh Nango tomatoes, lovingly prepared by locals. Delicious, hearty, and Instagram-worthy, these meals are a favorite among visitors.
